January Pick 3 Pinterest Picks

Hi y’all! I’m linking up with some of my favorite blogging buddies to share some of our favorite Pinterest inspirations for January!
In keeping with my new motto for the year “Keep it SIMPLE” my pins will be some simple things to do your classrooms. Sometimes it can be hard to keep things exciting on these cold, dark winter days but these ideas may help.
I love paper plate crafts! They make crafting super SIMPLE. This will go perfectly with my Snowmen at NIght, All Year, At Work unit. I may add a cup of hot chocolate or something to him just for fun.

This is another paper plate activity, but it is much more than a craft. I will be adapting this a little to fit my Arctic Animals Research unit. Students will focus on the arctic habitat of one animal.

The third pin I am sharing inspired part of some very exciting science experiments in my Frozen Solids and Other States of Matter unit. Students will experiment with excavating different sizes of objects from different sizes of ice chunks.
HOPE (that’s my ONE WORD for the year) that you found something you would like to do in your classroom this winter season.
Y’all be sure to come back and find more simple ideas soon!

Mine too... I don't think I could get a 19 year old to play along. But ya never know, he misses home and being the little curious boy sometimes.
