Wooohooo! Welcome Boom digital task cards! This is some super exciting news for you! There’s a great new way to use technology in your classroom! It’s easy, fun, and engaging! My digital task cards are moving to Boom Learning! This new platform is easy for students to use, engages them in competition, and makes it easy for you to track students progress!
You will need to set up your teacher account, click here for a tutorial. It took me about 5 minutes to set up my account. Then older students can set up their own account or you can set it up for them. That part took me about 3 minutes, all I had to do was type student names all into one box, separated by a comma, and a default password was given.
Once your account is set up, you can go to the store and find free decks of digital task cards or buy some. Here is more information on how to get decks into your library. Then you are just a couple of clicks away from assigning the Boom digital task cards to your students. Once you do that, you can check their progress and accuracy by clicking on “reports.”
Here’s a little peek at what Boom digital task cards look like. This is interactive, so give it a try!
Students earn coins, gems, and pulses as they work through Boom learning decks. I love the feature that gives them four lives per deck and each wrong answer costs them a life. Once they lose all four “lives,” students start the deck all over. Here is more information about how the coins, gems, and pulses work.
I loved using Boom for test prep in the days before end of year testing. My students were bored with pencil and paper and I needed to spice it up a bit!

I am receiving a renewal credit on Boom for publishing this post.
